Nicole Richie was adopted in rather odd circumstances, and wealth does not appear to have assured her of balance or happiness.dulwichmumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17106294077068237863noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7748453999833334873.post-17729709033664276322007-02-24T20:26:00.000+00:002007-02-24T20:26:00.000+00:00You said it Dulwich Mum!! I was so DISGUSTED by the madonna afair of shopping for a baby and even more disgusted by those columnists and others who tried to justify her actions. Basically, she saw this kid in a video, decided she wanted him and blam, sent one of minder to pick him up, like a bag of groceries! Ok, so she isn't totally heartless and says she loves the kid - well so did his father and grandparents who were too poor and exhausted to look after him. You know, we can't even imagine what it must be like to be so ground down by poverty that we have to give up our child to an orpanhage. And they didn't just abandon him totally either. How the heck is he going to feel - towards her, when he grows up and realises he has been surrounded by all the material wealth possible, but that the one thing that most children long for, his father, was denied to him? He is going to be one mixed up kid - ok, a wealthy one but if everyone out there sponsered a child through an organisation like action aid www.actionaid.org.uk who uses your sponsorship money to support the whole community that the child lives in, then children the world over wouldn't have to be abadoned by their parents or die in poverty.Scruffy Mummyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13666210087625161499noreply@blogger.com
